A Grand Debut: The 1st Empyrean Chess Tournament by Chess Visionaries

On Sunday, 27th April 2025, the 1st Empyrean Chess Tournament lit up Kharghar, Navi Mumbai with an electrifying atmosphere of strategy, competition, and community! Organized by Chess Visionaries International Academy and held under the aegis of RDCA – Raigad District Chess Association, the event drew 260+ participants, making it one of the most attended tournaments in the region.

Participants traveled from Palghar, Raigad, Thane, Mumbai City, Mumbai Suburbs, and even distant corners like Ambernath, Karjat, and Pune, proving once again that the chessboard unites minds across districts and regions.
